What we Offer
Cardio
Fitness
Cardio is short for cardiovascular exercise. These exercises work to improve your endurance by increasing your heart rate and breathing rate.
Many people forget that your heart is a muscle, and like all muscles, it requires exercise. If you don’t work it, it will weaken much quicker over time. Getting your heart pumping at faster rates on a regular basis keeps it in shape and healthy, reducing the risk of heart disease. Cardio helps lower your blood pressure by reducing the levels of bad cholesterol and raising levels of good cholesterol. Other benefits include: lung strength, weight loss, improved mental health, strengthening the immune system and brain power as well as improving sleep.
Weight
Training
Weight training is a type of strength training that uses weights for resistance.
Weight training provides a stress to the muscles that causes them to adapt and get stronger, similar to the way aerobic conditioning strengthens your heart. Weight training can also help you tone your muscles, improve your appearance, maintain bone health and fight age-related muscle loss.
Balance and Flexibility
Mobility, balance, and flexibility are frequently overlooked but essential elements of well-rounded fitness.
Balance is skill that typically declines with age. However, even among younger people, those with excellent balance perform better in their favorite activities and are at a lower risk for accidents and injury. Preserving balance grows more essential the older one gets as it is in many ways a “use it or lose it” type skill. Since it is a skill, you can improve it through exercise. Working on flexibility is one of the best ways to maintain a good posture, move within full range of motion and prevent injury to tight muscles.
Nutrition
Nutrition is about eating a healthy and balanced diet.
Nutrition is the most important part of fitness because it provides the body with the energy and nutrients it needs to perform physical activity. Without good nutrition, the body cannot reach its full fitness potential. Along with exercise, good nutrition helps to gain and maintain healthy muscle, restores energy levels and reduces fatigue, helping the body to repair muscles and build strength for future workouts. Nutrition counseling is available as requested.
Circuit Training
Circuit training targets strength building and muscular endurance.
It is a form of body conditioning that involves endurance training, resistance training, high-intensity aerobics, and exercises performed in a circuit, similar to high-intensity interval training. It targets strength building and muscular endurance.
Small Group Training
Small group training consists of one trainer working with a group of three to eight clients.
Keeping the group to an 8-person max allows the personal trainer to build a connection with each individual while also giving proper attention to each participant's safety, form, and alignment. Our small group training workouts are done in a circuit style and run anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour. Small group training is also a great way to reap the benefits of having a personal trainer while keeping in line with your budget.
